Association Safety Program (ASP)
SCF Arizona and asba are committed to workplace safety education. Through our partnership, we work together to communicate and teach the latest and most pertinent safety information to asba members statewide.
Who is eligible?
As a policyholder with SCF Arizona, SCF General Insurance Co., SCF Premier Insurance Co. or SCF Western Insurance Co., you are eligible to join the asba Association Safety Program (ASP). There is no cost to join other than your regular asba membership dues.
Benefits of the program include:
- Safety training presented by asba on topics of greatest concern
- Timely information about changes to workers' compensation laws and rates
- Regular articles on workplace safety practices
- Potential bonus safety dividend for SCF Arizona policyholders
- FREE Safety Plan template for your business
- FREE materials to set up a return-to-work program
- Assigned SCF Association Coordinator to serve as a resource to all ASP members and more!
Eligible ASP members in good standing may earn a bonus safety dividend!
In a special program designed by SCF Arizona, enrolled members of the asba Association Safety Program may earn a bonus dividend in addition to their individual dividends based on the safety success of asba’s group (the earned bonus dividend is calculated on the total premiums and losses of all participating asba members).
While dividends cannot be guaranteed, SCF Arizona has paid them every year since 1969. For the 2008-2009 association policy year, qualifying asba members participating in the Association Safety Program earned a 120% bonus dividend. That is impressive!
Working with asba provides you an opportunity to learn and use valuable practices in your business that will help you to:
- Keep orkers safe
- Reduce workers' compensation costs
- Boost morale
- Network with like-minded business people to share best practices
- Develop resources to reduce claims, thereby keeping your premiums lower
How it works:
