Business Growth Conference & Expo

Posted By Rhette Baughman, Arizona Small Business Association, Tuesday, November 6, 2012
What are the keys to growing a business? How can you strategically grow a brand through an online community?

Those are just some of the questions that will be answered at the upcoming Business Growth Conference & Expo, November 9.

There is no doubt that conferences and expos can be a great way to get a lot of information in a short amount of time. Outside of the educational value, they also allow you to network and share ideas with fellow colleagues and thought leaders.

On November 9, Arizona’s business community will get the opportunity to meet and mingle as the Phoenix Business Journal hosts their Business Growth Conference & Expo, at the Phoenix Convention Center in Downtown Phoenix. From 12:30-5:30 p.m., business professionals from all over the Valley will come to represent their business and cultivate relationships with other like-minded individuals.

In addition to the expo, there are some great learning opportunities as well. Abbie Fink, Feitlinger, Bret Giles talking and Elle Shelley will be on a panel discussing social media. Pamela Slim is the headliner. Other speakers include Kent Craven, Harriet Moser, Matthew Coast, Max Mendoza, Doug Brunke, John Kowalski and Elaine Fogel.

Here’s what’s on tap for that afternoon:

Developing a Dream: Converting Your Passion into a Business or You Can’t Wish Your Way to Growth: A Roadmap of Strategies to Growth
Basic Social Media: Believing in your Social Self or Branding and Distinction: Setting yourself apart
Advanced Social Media or Build Strength & Confidence while Growing Your Business

This one-day event is a great opportunity to get a tip or two for better business practices. For more information about registration or being an exhibitor, visit the Phoenix Business Journal website.

Feel free to share the details and make sure to use the #BGCE2012 hash tag when tweeting.

And as a bonus, ASBA has 10 pairs of complimentary tickets to the event. What’s your best networking advice? We’ll randomly select 10 people who comment on our blog to receive a pair of tickets.
