Small Business Outlook 2013 is a must-attend event for all small business owners and supporters of the small business community in Arizona.  This year’s program will feature an informative panel discussion as we take a look at important issues facing small business in 2013, including the critical areas of public policy, healthcare in Arizona, and access to capital.  Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other business owners, meet ASBA’s new and renewing Board Members, and interact one-on-one with ASBA partners at the mini benefits fair. JerryBJerry Bustamante, Sr. VP, Public Policy + Southern Arizona, ASBA - Jerry is responsible for leading ASBA’s public policy efforts and advancing the organization’s legislative priorities.  Jerry is a long time association management executive who has lobbied for pro-business issues, legislation and candidates at all levels of government.

 

Michael HunterMichael Hunter, Director of Legislative Affairs & Special Advisor on Tax Policy & Reform, Office of the Arizona Governor Janice K. Brewer - Michael is recognized as an expert in public finance and taxation, having held positions as Government Affairs Director for the Arizona Board of Regents and as Vice President of the Arizona Tax Research Association.

Don HughesDon Hughes, Policy Advisor for Health Care, Office of the Arizona Governor Janice K. Brewer - Don is responsible for policy issues regarding health care, behavioral health, public health, Medicaid, insurance, tort reform and health care innovation.

 


John Oats, Head of State Government Affairs, Cigna - John serves as the liaison to state officials and manages a government affairs team responsible for legislative and regulatory advocacy in the states. John's background is in health care policy, and he has worked on numerous campaigns, including volunteering as an advance team member and a health policy advisor to a successful presidential campaign.

Craig JordanCraig Jordan, Lender Relations Specialist, Arizona District Office - Craig has worked in the financial services industry for more than 14 years in commercial and residential lending for companies such as National Mortgage Company, New England Financial and Merrill Lynch.
