Trust me, it’s for your own good.
By
Ron J West

Business Clubs America is known for its warm referrals and facilitating face to face introductions. And their great success is based on the simple premise that people like doing business with people they know, like, and trust. Easy huh? But did you appreciate that trust is not the same for everyone. You probably know someone who is trustworthy yet others just don't seem to trust them. Or perhaps you have experienced someone suffer at the hands of someone they trusted who was definitely not trustworthy.

In this keynote you can expect to be quickly reminded of the basics of trust, entertained by examples of when it breaks down, and then go on to discover what YOU need to adapt to build trust. Using a behavioral modeling system you will learn to read the needs of others and how you need to adapt to establish trust with very different kinds of people. Flawlessly. With trust established you will go on to learn how to enroll others.

Enrollment relies on emotional engagement. It is less about how something meets a need of others and more about how it aligns to their own values and beliefs. Enrollment is genuinely being focused on what someone else gains. This kind of empathy does not come naturally to most dominant individuals drawn to sales leadership. How interesting. Yet, if you pay attention, you will gain the knowledge you need to master the skill of rapport without manipulation.

Expect to be dazzled.
