Dream big AND go home!

What kind of place would be the world without dreams? They fuel our desires, give us hope for something better and help us cope with difficult times. They are limitless, stretching as far as our mind can stretch.
They have a great role and value in each one’s life. Dreams are one of the manifestations of our ability to imagine, to create a mental image of something that is not perceived through the senses. Whether consciously or unconsciously, we use that ability all the time: to plan a party, a trip or a work meeting, give direction or cook a meal. To do it, you need to ‘see’ it in your ‘mind’s eye’.
Furthermore everything that you have right now in your life, whether it is your career, your relationship, your home, your car, etc., emerged from a mental image, an idea, a dream.
So why don’t you have your dream job, your dream relationship, your dream home, your dream car, etc, right now? Because you didn’t FEEL IT! Your mind may say ‘I want it’ but your belief system, through your body is telling you, and more likely screaming, ‘I can’t have it; I don’t deserve it; I am not worthy of it’. You had a great idea, a dream, a vision for life, but it did not stick. You felt motivated and energized at first but rapidly your subconscious programming chipped them away. If you had observed your body felt sensation you may have uncovered that your throat is tightening, you have a knot in the pit of your stomach or your breathing becomes strenuous…
Through our developmental process, our mind becomes dominant following the development of the frontal lobes of our brain. We start thinking of how we are going to be perceived and how to best present ourselves to be liked. We start to control our emotions and in doing so, we start to selectively repress body-felt sensations, slowly but surely losing this connection. Reconnecting to our body as an adult can be emotionally challenging at times as blocked energy gets release.
Whatever it is you want, feel it as if you already had it. Dream big and go home. Go within. Pay attention to any physical sensations that may arise and allow yourself to discover the underlying negative belief that is blocking your path. This awareness is the first step to create momentum, which if sustained, will make all your dreams come true.
