17th Annual Enterprise Business Awards Luncheon Announcement

PHOENIX, AZ (Wednesday, May 5, 2010) — The Arizona Small Business Association (asba) is preparing for its 17th Annual Enterprise Business Awards Luncheon – Celebrating the Best in Business, on Thursday, May 20th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Arizona Biltmore Resort in the Arizona Ballroom. Brahm Resnik, award-winning business journalist and weekend news anchor for 12 News, will emcee the event. This upbeat and celebratory event showcases the many successes of Arizona small businesses, paying tribute to National Small Business Week by presenting the prestigious U.S. Small Business Administration Awards for the state of Arizona. Among those honored for their amazing accomplishments are one national and two regional U.S. SBA champions. This commemorative event will feature a special musical performance by award winning artist, Lee Greenwood. Lee is most recognized for his patriotic and inspiring hit, "God Bless the U.S.A.”

The Enterprise Business Awards Luncheon features the esteemed U. S. Small Business Administration Awards; of which, asba members proudly secured eight of eleven 2010 Arizona SBA awards* and claimed one national and two U.S. SBA regional awards. Join us as we celebrate these prestigious winners:

  • Jeffrey Butland Family-Owned Business of the Year: Mark Levkowitz, Family Member of Chicago Music Store
  • Small Business Development Center Service Excellence and Innovation Award: Mark Engle, AZSBDC Network Center Director and Director of Northland Pioneer College SBDC*
  • SCORE Chapter of the Year: Maryanne Weiss, Chair of Greater Phoenix SCORE*
