ARIZONA SMALL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION AND BBB OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA

PARTNER TO EXPAND RESOURCES AND ADVANCE THE GROWTH OF

SOUTHERN ARIZONA SMALL BUSINESSES

TUCSON, AZ (Monday, April 12, 2010)Arizona Small Business Association (asba) has partnered with Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Southern Arizona in a strategic partnership that will help the two organizations collaboratively expand the resources and benefits available to their members in Southern Arizona.

"The BBB is the gold standard for business ethics and trust in the marketplace. With this partnership, we will help our members become qualified BBB accredited businesses and obtain this valued and respected designation”, states asba CEO, Donna Davis. "Hopefully this will attract more work and projects because people like to do business with people they can trust."

Through the partnership, asba and BBB of Southern Arizona members will be able to save money through waived application fees for new memberships, meet new contacts through joint networking mixers, elevate their credibility and business knowledge through accreditation and educational programs and access a combined network of nearly 6,000 Arizona small businesses.

"This collaboration makes so much sense for BBB and asba,” says Kimberly States, CEO of BBB of Southern Arizona. "I hope to see more partnerships like this, because the ultimate goal is to increase benefit and value to businesses in southern Arizona. I can’t think of a better way to do that then to form a partnership between two organizations that compliment each other so well.”

This partnership involves the first (BBB) and second (asba) largest trade associations in Arizona. Through these initiatives, both organizations will continue to expand their outreach efforts to a broad cross-section of Southern Arizona’s small-business professionals, presenting a tremendous opportunity to share resources.
