Arizona small business leader is optimistic about the economy

Ted Vollmuth

The CEO of the Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) (www.asba.com), based in Phoenix, in a recent business article urged businesses to not be too stressed about all the latest bad economic news.  She cited the results of a recent ASBA study of its 10,000 members statewide which showed businesses are generally optimistic about the business climate.

"While it is critical to keep attuned to the economic roller coaster, it’s just as important to not fret the current cycle,” stated ASBA CEO Donna Davis.  "The key is what I like to refer to as the ‘f-word’ around the office:  focus.”

Some really sound advice comes from Davis who urged businesses to put time and energy into growing the business.  She noted the best investments a business can make are improving customer relations, examine new opportunities and rethink the customer experience with your brand.
