The Arizona Small Business Association (ASBA) welcomes Jerry Bustamante as the new Director for the Southern Arizona region. His role will be to help grow the association’s presence and to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners in Southern Arizona. Bustamante will work out of the Southern Arizona office in Tucson and will report to ASBA CEO Donna Davis.

"I am thrilled to add Jerry to our high caliber team,” said Davis. "He has extensive background in public policy, business programs and services as the former President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Northern Pima County Chamber of Commerce and Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He will be a tremendous asset and will make a great ambassador for the Southern Arizona region.”

ASBA Incoming Board Chair and serial Tucson entrepreneur Joe Higgins added, "Jerry is a very welcome addition to the ASBA team. He is professional, always positive and a fierce advocate for the small businesses he serves. Jerry brings a keen understanding of the Arizona legislature and will be critical in ASBA’s public policy initiatives.”

An Arizona resident since 1975, long time Tucson resident and graduate of the University of Arizona, Bustamante is extremely connected with the local and regional business communities. "I am really excited about where ASBA is today and the direction they are headed,” said Bustamante. "I am looking forward to working with their dynamic staff, board and being a part of ASBA’s growing presence in Arizona. In this capacity I can help small business owners prosper and have a powerful influence in the state legislature.”
