The e200 Emerging Business Initiative will be offered this year in Phoenix beginning in April 2012 to help increase growth opportunities for small businesses.
We are looking to find 17 small businesses that meet the criteria for the program. This training is FREE to the small business owner and hosted by SBA, the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development, and the American Indian Chamber of Commerce with the curriculum designed by a non-profit organization, Interise. Small businesses should meet the following criteria:
Any Native American and/or tribally owned small business
Be in business for three years or more
Have achieved revenues of $300,000 to $10,000,000 (negotiable)
CEO commitment to devote 100 hours for extensive executive training
The e200 initiative provides participants with new knowledge, know-how and connections to help them grow their businesses, create jobs, and strengthen their communities. This innovative initiative is an intense 8 month initiative that offers approximately 100 hours of training per participant and provides the opportunity for small business owners to work with experienced professionals and develop connections with their peers, city leaders, and financial communities.
