Transport Your Business Makeovers

A special project to assist ASBA members affected by Light Rail and I-10 construction

The 2007-2008 edition of Business Makeovers—Transport Your Business, will be offered to ASBA members that have been affected by construction projects around the state – including Light Rail in the Metro Phoenix area and I-10/Grant Road improvements in the Tucson area.

ASBA’s goal with this year’s makeover theme is to offer the improvements and bottom line boost that past Business Makeover recipients have experienced to a group of companies who could really use it – right now!

Please look over the following criteria to be considered a Transport Your Business Makeover Candidate for 2007/2008.

• Is your business located along the construction of Light Rail Line Sections 1 through 5 or near I-10 or Grant Road construction in Tucson? If so, there programs to assist you – but a Business Makeover may be another solution to help Transport Your Business in 2008.
• Tell us what you need and where you are experiencing concern in your business operations.
• Perhaps you need to refresh your website, business brand and update your plan.
• Could you use an overhaul of procedures and technology to streamline operations?
• Could your marketing or sales strategy use an injection of new ideas and energy?
• Does your financial approach need revising to get you through the next five years?
• Maybe it is a combination of the aforementioned. Apply today for an ASBA Business Makeover and you could receive free business assessment and advice, plus up to $1,500 in Matching Makeover Funds. Business Makeovers take place over a 6 month period; September 2007 through February 2008. There is no cost to apply or receive a Business Makeover. Makeover Companies and Volunteer Consultants will be required to be ASBA members and to commit time and resources during the entire Makeover process. Applications are being accepted July 1 through August 10, 2007. Makeover winners will be notified August 17, 2007.

Although we would love to help everyone, ASBA will only accept and makeover six companies in total. Apply today and be a part of our annual endeavor to help Arizona businesses grow and get to the next level. ASBA will create press opportunities for makeover and volunteer companies.
