Enterprise Business Conference

Arizona's premiere small business event includes a luncheon, presentation of the U. S. Small Business Administration Awards and a large Expo where admission is FREE. Luncheon tickets sold separate.

Arizona Companies to Watch

Arizona Companies to Watch honors high-performing second-stage companies from across the state for their achievements and contributions to the region’s economy. Nominations begin on April 23, 2008. Celebrate with the 2008 Arizona Companies to Watch on November 11th at the Phoenix Convention Center. Tickets for this event will be available in August.

Business Makeovers

Each year five to six companies from around the state receive six months of free business assessment and advice through the Business Makeover program. Makeover Applications are accepted in July each year. ASBA members are encouraged to apply to assist Business Makeover recipients as Volunteer Consultants.

ASBA will reveal the results of the 2008 Makeovers at the 15th Annual Enterprise Business Conference on April 23, 2008 at the Phoenix Convention Center.

Workforce Development

In the 21st century, employment patterns are changing rapidly with people changing jobs and career more frequently. The impact of this is that the businesses of today require a multi-skilled and flexible workforce

Employers need to encourage their workforce to be committed to development and training in order that they can, in partnership with their employer, manage industrial and technological change more effectively. 

SASIE Awards

The SASIE Awards recognize and honor outstanding entrepreneurs in the Southern Arizona region whose innovative, enterprising approach to business deserves special recognition.  These companies are inspiring examples of what can be achieved while rising to the exciting challenges of running a business in this region.
