Posted By Arizona Small Business Association, Wednesday, August 27, 2014

According to Biz2Credit, women's business loans approval rate is 20 percent less than men's. Banks have been apprehensive to lend to small businesses since the recession, and often women-owned businesses were younger, making them more of a risk. Women's credit scores came in 20 points lower than men's, an improvement over 2012. There are lending options though through programs such as the Arizona Small Business Association's ASBA PULSE.
