PREPARING FOR LIFT OFF!

Posted By Susan F. Moody, Starshine Associates, Friday, May 5, 2017

(PHOENIX, AZ) With only a week away from launching the West Valley’s 1st Co-Op and Co-Working Space for women, StarshineAZ co-founders Susan F. Moody and Leeanne Gardner are adding the final touches to their innovative concept.

“Response from women business owners has been amazing!” says Leeanne. “They are looking forward to being able to be their authentic self and receiving the support that they need to be successful.”

Starshine is a combination community center, learning exchange, business center and resource library for female CEOs all rolled into one. “Basically we combined all the services we would like in one location. Having started over 14 businesses,” stated Susan, “we know exactly what it takes to inspire and empower women to build a business that makes a difference and makes money while living a life that matters.”

Offerings include themed community activities every day of the week: Motivational Monday, Teaching Tuesday, Wine Down Wednesday, Take Care Thursday and Friendly Friday. According to Moody and Gardner,”When you create a business you need speaking opportunities, networking events and accountability partnerships. When you are creating a life, you need motivation, nurturing and fun! We offer support and resources for every part of your life.”

Located at the Glendale Municipal Airport and preparing for lift off, Starshine has special charter membership pricing available through the Month of May. For more information on The West Valley’s 1st Co-Op and Co-Working Space for Women, check out their website at www.StarshineAZ.com

Please Take Your Seats!

Posted By Susan F. Moody, Starshine Associates, Tuesday, April 11, 2017

(PHOENIX, AZ) “What’s the definition of a female CEO?” asks Leeanne Gardner, Starshine co-founder, “Chief Everything Officer.” When I first heard that definition, my immediate thought was how true!

“As women business owners, we juggle so many areas of our life and, for some reason, we do this mainly on our own” stated Susan F. Moody, Starshine co-founder. “At StarshineAZ we are creating a collaborative environment where you do not have to go it alone.”

They say it takes a village, and StarshineAZ is the place where you can have the support of other like-minded professional women willing to share resources to collectively grow your businesses. Not only that, but need some motivation? You get it here. Want speaking opportunities? Got it! How about an accountability partner? Yep, that too. And fun? Monthly Girls Day Out featured here!

Susan and Leeanne are both corporate escapees and business partners. Between them they have started over 14 businesses from being a solopreneur, franchise owner, president of an S corp and CEO of an LLC. They have experience starting and growing just about any type of business. But, more importantly, they are dedicated to helping female CEOs build a business that makes a difference and makes money while living a life that matters.

“We know exactly what it takes to grow a business both on a professional level and a personal level.” says Moody. “At Starshine we also take care of YOU, the woman behind the business.” If you want to learn more, StarshineAZ is hosting an Open House at the Glendale Airport on Friday, 4/28 from 10am-2pm.

With a launch date scheduled for May, it is time to please take your seats and prepare for lift off! For more information on The West Valley’s 1st Co-Op and Co-Working Space for Women, check out their website at www.StarshineAZ.com

Posted By Susan F. Moody, Starshine Associates, Monday, January 9, 2017

The eWomenNetwork Foundation today announced its 17th annual International Femtor® Awards Gala will take place on Saturday, August 5th in Dallas, Texas during the eWomenNetwork’s International Conference and Business Expo- the largest four day women’s business conference in North America.

Nominations are now being accepted for Emerging Leader of the Year Award.  This award recognizes our female leaders of tomorrow across the United States and Canada and helps them realize the promise of a vibrant future. Nominees must have demonstrated significant accomplishments in the areas of academics, business or community service.  The nomination deadline is March 31, 2017. www.femtorawards.org.

“We’re thrilled to offer such an exciting and unique opportunity to the emerging female leaders of our community,” says Susan F. Moody, Managing Director for the Phoenix chapter of eWomenNetwork. “We hope our chapter will sponsor this year’s Emerging Leader winner!”

One finalist will be chosen from each participating eWomenNetwork Chapter. Each finalist will receive an all-expense paid experience which includes flight, hotel accommodations, meals and full access eWomenNetwork conference registration-- a prize package valued at more than $5,000.  The Emerging Leader of the Year receives a total awards package of more than $16,000!

Emerging Leader finalists participate in a program especially designed for them, and are featured on our main stage during the Foundation’s International Femtor® Awards Gala.  The women selected will receive four days of skill development, relationship building and networking with established “Femtors®” in the only program of its kind in North America. (The word Femtor®, a registered trademark of eWomenNetwork, is defined as "a wise and trusted woman providing knowledge, inspiration and practical information to other women."  Femtor® acknowledges the mentoring work done from a female experience and knowledge base).
