This free seminar will share everything you need (and want!) to know about the ICHRA/EBHRA plans available to employers in 2020, including how they could help your small business offer big company-like benefits!

What is an ICHRA?
The Individual Coverage HRA (ICHRA) is designed to expand the use of HRAs by employers to fund premiums for their employees in the individual health insurance market, as well as to reimburse out-of-pocket (213) medical expenses. It’s a company-funded, tax-advantaged health benefit available to employers of any size. Unlike a traditional HRA, the ICHRA: · allows Medicare and Medicare supplement premiums to be reimbursed regardless of employer size · allows individual market premiums to be reimbursed · allows State and Federal Exchange premiums to be reimbursed · doesn’t require discrimination testing if ICHRA is for premium reimbursement only · has no maximum annual employer contribution

What is an EBHRA?
The Excepted Benefit HRA (EBHRA) is a non-integrated HRA by which employers can reimburse certain “excepted” benefit premiums. It can also allow for out-of-pocket (213) expenses to be reimbursed. Unlike a traditional HRA, the EBHRA: · allows for certain “excepted benefit” premiums to be reimbursed · requires the employer to offer a Group Health Plan (employee does not have to be enrolled in the GHP to participate in the EBHRA) · has a maximum annual contribution amount (currently $1800/year)

Food/Beverages: A light lunch of sandwiches/drinks will be made available from 11am-11:30am, with the presentation beginning promptly at 11:30am.

Please bring: Business cards. Prizes will be given out at the conclusion of the seminar.

RSVP/Registration: Space is limited to the first 50 registrants and your registration must be received no later than Monday, January 20, 2020.
