As a business owner, your employees are your most important asset. Don’t put your business in jeopardy by ignoring the compliance requirements that apply to you. Even if you are a small business that doesn’t offer health coverage, you still have to provide communications to your employees. Healthcare coverage for employees is often one of the largest expenses for a business after compensation. As you plan for 2015, you need to consider not only your strategies for attracting and retaining employees, but also the compliance obligations you have.

Do you find the changing regulations confusing and wonder how they apply to you? Are you wondering if you really need to do anything at all?

Here are some important reasons to attend this seminar:

- Penalties for each incident are $100 per day per violation.
- What is being enforced now? There are a number of provisions that have already been implemented and compliance is required.
- Are you planning a merger or acquisition? You need to make sure that your payroll data includes the necessary information to report as a large employer, even if you are not one now.
- Do you offer a self-funded health plan? There are additional individual reporting requirements for each employee.
- Have you confirmed with your Attorney or CPA your status as a large or small employer? The rules on aggregating companies are complex and often require additional guidance.
- If you are a large employer, have you evaluated your safe harbor options?
- And last, but not least, what is on the horizon? It is unlikely that this will just go away. Elections are near but veto power will remain in the White House.
